Postcards From the Road, Merry Christmas! Love Jennie is an eclectic collection of live performances and one original track --"Let Me Have Tonight"--recorded in DeVoe's living room.

The CD highlights some of DeVoe's holiday favorites. She fondly remembers visiting her Grandma over the holidays and closeting herself in the bedroom with the record player and Elvis' Christmas record on repeat. "Blue Christmas" and "Santa's Back In Town" both recall the spirit of that record.

Another gem found here is DeVoe's cover of John Hiatt's classic, "Have A Little Faith In Me." DeVoe has opened for Hiatt several times--and was even part of a special tribute video honoring him when he received the Governor's Arts Award from his home state of Indiana, along with peers and colleagues such as Bonnie Raitt, Roseanne Cash, and many more. While "Have A Little Faith" is not a "Christmas" song, it felt right for DeVoe to include it here, and it fits in well.

Not one, but two versions of "Please Come Home For Christmas" are on the album--one an arresting acoustic version, and the other featuring the full band live in all of it's glory.

Postcards From The Road is a must for a well-rounded collection of holiday CDs!
