The Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) is excited to announce their 30th Anniversary of providing services to victims of domestic violence in Indiana. In honor of this important anniversary, ICADV will host a gala on Saturday, September 11th from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. at the Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel. Our event theme, Night And Day: Bringing Light into the Darkness symbolizes the daily struggle victims face and the continued efforts by ICADV in providing services and promoting safety throughout Indiana.
In the last 30 years, we have seen tremendous progress; here are a few highlights: in 1994, Congress passed the Violence Against Women Act. In 2001 ICADV adopted statewide Batterers' Intervention Program Standards and began certifying programs statewide. In 2004 ICADV conducted its first annual Tenderness Tour Run, Walk and Roll event - this continues as Race Away From Domestic Violence. In August 2007, ICADV merged with the Protective Order Pro Bono Project of Greater Indianapolis, and as we enter our 4th decade, we will continue to move forward to better serve Hoosier families impacted by domestic violence.

Palomino Club !
I'm on the board for this great organization called Friends of Ferdinand - Sarah Busbice decided she wanted to rescure thoroughbred race horses rather than see them get auctioned off at kill auctions, true, sad but true that it happens....so, she wants to put on fun concerts and benefits to raise money and awareness for this amazing and wonderful cause. Just by having fun and attending this concert , you are helping keep these amazing creatures alive so they can enjoy a wonderful life with someone who loves them....why not! Come on, it's ez and fun to care and we thank you! See you there and thank you, you'll have a blast! more info tba!
